Coaching
Sean earned his Master’s degree (M.Ed.) in Counseling and Guidance Services from Clemson University and spent over 15 years working in higher education before earning his coaching certification from the Life Purpose Institute.
His coaching style brings together the philosophical and the practical, and leans heavily on his understanding of developmental theory, his empathic approach to working with others, and his focus on co-creating practical strategies for personal and professional growth and development.
When you work with Sean, you should expect a coaching relationship based on a mutual commitment to your success, self-exploration, practical research, brainstorming, and strategic planning.
Ideally, the process will be short-term, but the length of the coaching relationship really depends on the amount of clarity you have about your goals, the options you’d like to consider, and your “readiness” (practically and emotionally) to move forward.
To get an idea of some typical areas we explore using this adapted “Life Purpose Process,” view the Prezi below on Mind-Mapping Your Successful Job Search, which illustrates Sean’s approach toward working with clients to map out their career plans.
